How to open your digital book

Find the QR code in your book
Every VEDV book has a QR code with a short code printed beside it (for example VD10023) on the back cover. Many chapters also have their own code on the first page.

Sign in to VEDV
Open the VEDV app or this website and sign in with Google. Use the student or teacher account your school registered for you.

Scan the code
Choose “Scan Code” and point your camera at the QR code. No camera? Type the short code printed beside it instead.

Start learning
The book opens with all its chapters - watch lesson videos, download worksheets and PDFs, and take chapter quizzes.

Do I need an account to open the digital content?
Yes. Digital content is available to students and teachers of schools that use VEDV books. Sign in with Google using the account your school registered. If you signed up as a guest, ask your school to link your student or teacher ID, or contact us.
Where is the QR code in my VEDV book?
Look on the back cover for the QR code with a short code printed next to it. Many chapters also have a QR code on their first page that opens the same book.
What if my phone cannot scan the QR code?
Type the short code printed next to the QR code into the code box on the Scan Code page. It works the same way as scanning.
Which devices can I use?
Any smartphone, tablet or computer with a modern web browser, as well as the VEDV mobile app. Scanning needs a camera; typing the code works on any device.
What do I get after scanning?
The book’s chapters with lesson videos, downloadable worksheets and PDFs, and quizzes to check understanding. Teachers also get teaching resources and training videos.
The code says it is not valid. What should I do?
Check that you typed the code exactly as printed, and that you are signed in with a student or teacher account. If it still does not work, contact us with the book name and the code.
